Appreciate Linux

I don't know if you realize, but Linux is probably what got me my current job. I figure that there could have been some fairly qualified individuals who interviewed, and yet may not have had the experience that I have outside of "Windoze." that being said, my hobby immediately paid off, and continues to take care of our family. I would have to say that is a generally reasonable idea to support the hobby- and to keep learning as much as I can. Linux now has made news by claiming 1% of the market. That isn't anything huge, of course, but overall that IS saying something! I've heard less conservative estimates which were YEARS ago, and far greater in number, I believe. All of these things add up to one statement: We have received many benefits from Linux; appreciate Linux; respect Linux.

Conference Weekend

Learn why Family is so important to us!

So we are down at Heather’s sister’s for a couple days, to watch LDS General Conference, and to have Keegan spend time with his cousins. Everyone is everywhere at the moment, and that’s exactly how we like it. Keegan needs to play with more kids. Hopefully soon he’ll be able to play with boys his own age. It’s been a long crazy week at work for James. Heather has been modifying Keegan’s room with IKEA and Target’s help, into a

 “Big Boy Room.”

He has a queen futon bed (donated by James), all new lime green bedding and complementary pillows. He has an IKEA bookcase with drawers and stuff, it’s all very chic!

I’m going to have Heather sit down, so the next post will be from her, I’m going to recommend that it be about the real description of the room. Oh, I can say he does have two magnetic boards for pictures and homework (he’s getting close to starting preschool)!

So I'm blogging from Heather's phone to start this out right! Keegan, Heather and I are working VERY
hard to have a healthy and happy relationship. So we wanted to show our progress, and plenty of Keegan's cutest moments along the way. A fair amount of these posts will be from either BlackBerry internet, or from email via Blackberry, so we apologize in advance for this blog not being as cute as some others you probably view more regularly. Anyway, we love our little family, and hopefully you get something out of this too.
