Teeth whitening experiment day 7

-1201652733

So I've been using activated charcoal now, once a day (whether I brushed in the morning or not is a variable), for a week. I believe it's helping. Especially where normal toothpaste and bleaching as often as allowed have failed or become more hassle. See for yourself.

"In Australia, wild dolphins have been observed giving gifts of food to humans." What does this mean? I think they pity us.

Activated Charcoal as a Teeth Whitener???

So as a new year post, here's a quick look at my mission to get whiter teeth, but not using conventional means. By using activated charcoal powder. My sister-in-law was kind enough to furnish me with a small bag full after she bought a pound of the stuff. http://p.geekcloud.co/shellWoW is her page, by the way. Pic number one is a white roll of toilet paper, for contrast, and similar lighting. Pic number two is before, and number three after. I could also have gotten some very funny video of the process, like my freak out over the sink going black!
--Thanks,

-James.

  1. Which computer are you calling "the networked" in this case is it the laptop? Also, note that you cannot share a different folder and expect the laptop to find it, you have to use the root of the drive.

Very easily done, I didn't even need the defaults key in Mountain Lion.

All 50 want out, but where would that leave ANYONE?

Sorry to whoever first noticed, but All 50 States have petitions to secede from the Union. I don't care about the reasons (There's more than just reform being attacked here) What do you expect to do assuming that you make it out? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/10/15/article-0-0E5FD0AC00000578-755_306x...

Electoral College Results for the US

I made a quick slideshow of how the electoral college has voted, and since that's all that matters, it might be worth a look. Couldn't find an infographic, so I made the video.

Obscure but effective

I don't believe I'm alone in exploring the entirety of websites (especially crudely made ones that links have died) by removing some piece of the url. I am under the distinct impression that this is a common trick to get the information you actually need. Old dead link, backspace a few times, find parent directory or page, click new link or search for actual download as the case may be. This isn't something I use lightly. Links to Motorola from before the advent of smart phones, and reuse of the term RAZR are probably all dead! But does that mean I can't get to the right forum-posted-link for my dad's old phone? Absolutely not. I knew that anything at www.Motorola.com was better than nothing. What's the point? I want to take this time to rave about bit.ly's free tool allowing my brand to point to anything I link. I don't guarantee these links won't change, but your click will be counted and you will have used my brand to get there. Try this tip. Anyone who can access their domain's A record can do this: http://p.geekcloud.co/Qj20hu (I love how existential this link is). For instructions click here: http://p.geekcloud.co/QuDidr
This could be used on social networks, to post your latest blog link, or simply to tell grandma a shorter thing to type to get to that new hip replacement therapy news. And to bring all this together, try this link: http://geekcloud.co/ . See how short?
