I'm now taking Bountiful Baskets on the bus, "Just to prove a point!"

Windows 7 and Office 2010 demo cloud

Cool that someone is finally catching on to this as a marketing and preparatory tool: Cloud store your OS. ClearOS has it, and now Windows 7 and Office 2010 can try and wow us.

I'm being told I'm not authority on this matter, but I thought it was cool, and newer.

A follow up to my last post

Based on the fact that I already have a working knowledge of the following, what would you suggest as my next move? More AJAX? Flash or some other front-end development software? Something more visual and heavy on the Object Oriented stuff? Comment here to give your advice.

I have studied in school and have used syntax in all of my career positions from these programming languages:
HTML, Javascript, C++, Java, XML, PHP, python, CSS, SQL, perl, bash scripting, BASIC, VB.

Ruby links for tomorrow?

So most of you programmers probably already know about these, but since I need a job, I'm brushing up my syntax skills.

Any more you would suggest?

Photos: Inside Flynn's Arcade

This morning, we go to hang out in Flynn's Arcade and relive the magic of TRON. Check out the mondo photo gallery after the cut to get a complete walkthrough of our day with TRON, plus a few photos of TRON himself, Bruce Boxleitner (who, by the way, loves his iPhone).

Meridian Magazine:: Line Upon Line: The Critic on Your Shoulder

"' The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance' (Galatians 5:22).

The fruit of the Spirit is not stress, anxiety, condemnation, worry or a sense of failure. Only one who desires to chain and destroy you would have you think so."

Target : Company : Arts + Culture

Target sponsors free admission to museums and art events on July 16-18 Target's hosting a nationwide art appreciation festival. On July 16-18, over 80 museums and art institutions in 30 cities nationwide will offer free or reduced-price admission. Check the Target Arts &Wonder site to find out what's happening in your neighborhood. • Email to a friend • On Parent Hacks at: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/parenthacks/~3/bu7puW4nOsc/target-arts.html

So they don't have any going in Utah yet, which is kind of surprising, but this is a very cool idea. Go support them, and tell them they need to do SLC!!!

GMOs

Just finished watching Food, Inc. and was thinking about how much GMOs have permeated everything we consume, whether we realize it or not. Corn is in practically everything, including batteries, diapers, not to mention every type of food that has high-fructose corn syrup in. :(
